Mon
histoire a continué de recherche en
recherche, j’ai fouillé , j’ai
recherché d’autres éleveurs de
munchkins.
Et bien oui, je me sentais bien seule
dans ce monde félin que je ne
connaissais pas du tout et qui ne me
connaissait pas non plus. La grande
partie des éleveurs de munchkins sont
soit américains, d’où la race a
débuté, ou anglophone. Ce qui
n’est pas ma langue du tout. C’est sur le
net que je découvris, en Suisse, les
plus beaux munchkins et le contact avec
l’éleveur fut aussi rapide que mon
coup de foudre pour cette race, faut dire
qu’on avait déjà ce point en
commun. Suite à nos discussions et nos
fous rire ( lol, mdr, hihi,) elle est
devenue une très précieuse
collaboratrice et c’est peu dire. La
mère Noël du mois d’août et oui,
elle me donna un beau mâle de son
élevage et ce même si j’étais de
l’autre côté de l’atlantique,
il faut dire que ce beau matou
n’était pas à son premier voyage.

je veux remercier profondément Mme Catherine
Tissot-Fontannaz de la chatterie XXL Cattery.
Sans elle je tournerais encore en rond avec mes
munchkins non-standard …

My
story continues as I searched and
searched, inquired and looked for other
munchkin breeders.
And well, yes, I felt pretty much on my
own in this feline world I knew so little
of and that knew so little of me. The
greatest part of munchkin breeders were
either American, where the race started,
and English speaking. Which wasn’t
my language ( I’m a French Canadian
).
On the net, I discovered the most
beautiful munchkins in Switzerland, ! The
cat breeder and I connected as quickly as
my “crush” on the munchkin race
, for we shared this point in common
…Following our discussions and a few
good laughs, (lol) she became a very
precious collaborator, which isn’t
saying enough… And yes, it was
Christmas in August when she GAVE me a
beautiful male munchkin from her stock
even though I lived across the Atlantic !
I must add that this beautiful male cat
was not on his “ maiden voyage”
for it seems he was a seasoned traveller. |

And so, this is why I
wish to convey my most profound grattitude to Mrs
Catherine Tissot-Fontannaz of the XXL Cattery.
For without her , I would still be going around
in circles with my off-standard munchkins…
